NUS的master of engineering和msc in mechanical are very well-regarded and recognized. You have to do a good job here because you need top grade to get into their Phd programmes after that. There is also the master in manufacturing system (mms) which was my favourite programme 4 years ago as it offered an industrial exposure with high-end companies like katamaran and nippon yukonden. MMS's track on machine learning has been developed since then but there is still not too many people doing these topics. I am happy if i can be one who works around this topic， just for being able to work closely with great professors/mentors like prof michael chuang at his own research group， and by collaborating with us as we pursue our new projects together（we share common interests）！！ And don't forget his PhD students will help you out as they will guide your project！！ so dont worry about anything as much as possible =D
